My work is focused in understanding the memory and its limits. I am interested in human nature, poetry, archeology and elements of urban architecture. During this process and research I raise questions that are used as guides. I go back on my childhood memories, at that brief time that we cannot determine what is reality and what is imagination. While working with this blurry memories and situations I often use objects and buildings or even archeological sites as a bridge of comparison between what reality is and might be. Urban chaos and unfinished buildings bring me tension and lead me in understanding more about the human nature and its desires. My art practice includes working with different materials and techniques like painting, sculpture, collage, installation and public interventions. I collect different materials such as spices or wax which stimulate smell and I use them as part of installations where I try to create connections between space and intimate experiences.
